Moments like this don’t come around often. I was in Segerea Retreat in Kenya and an early morning game drive when we stumbled across a beautiful pride of 3 females with around 7 very playful cubs. We must have been there for around 30 minutes when this cub walked right towards me, sat on a rock and just stared at me. The curiosity in the cubs wide, innocent eyes is both captivating and humbling. You can’t help but feel a deep sense of wonder and respect for such a small, yet powerful creature. I will never forgetting this encounter.
