I spotted these two young hyena cubs while out on a drive and couldn’t resist stopping to photograph them. I got low outside the car to capture the shot, both cubs watching me carefully, curious but a little unsure. There’s something about that moment, the mix of innocence and instinct in their eyes, that makes this one of my favourite encounters.
